The Future is Light

The Future is Light: "I believe it is the many spirits that are taking various human forms.  Even when a form ceases to exist, because the spirit still remains, the spirit will find a suitable channel to express through. That's why it's difficult to get rid of addictions, for example, because while one is trying to stop the behaviour, the spirit of the addiction continues to feed the addiction which inspires the individual to persist with the behaviour."

The Improviser: "Babies shapeshift into toddlers who shapeshift into teenagers who shapeshift into young adults who shapeshift into mature adults who shapeshift into senior citizens who shapeshift into corpses.

What causes these transmutations?"

Exorcise my Devils...

Exorcise my Devils...: "fish keepers out there - its not swim bladder or an infection or any other fish aliment I can find. In fact for about one hour every evening he acts like a regular fish, doing what fish do. He even seems fine with the frogs blindly stepping on him.

Now I just take it that that he is the LAZIEST fish alive. There can't be anything wrong with him as he just keeps living!"

Exorcise my Devils...: "1. "Bad things happen in threes" because that implies well now you've had one bad thing its ok, more is on the way! Just what you want to hear. However, how much of that is a self fulfilling prophecy?"

Falcon program takes off

Falcon program takes off: "What credited environmental impact study was conducted that speaks to the long term impact of chasing away all the sea birds on the island? I have also noticed there is now a lack of other birds as well. Logic follows that falcons chase more than just sea gulls. I feel strongly this was a very short sighted decision. I hope it can be both reversed and reconsidered after more scientific data can be gathered."

Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain: "They must match, or the certificate will not install. If the private key field was auto-populated, and then you change the certificate field on top, you will then need to change the private field key too.
Write the IP address in the IP Address field, and write the user in the User field.
If you are installing a shared certificate, write nobody in the User field, and write the shared IP address in the IP Address field."

Convert existing site to network - WordPress Answers

Convert existing site to network - WordPress Answers: "Domain Mapping

If your multiple sites were originally on multiple domains, you'll want to install a domain mapping plug-in to make everything work right. I recommend (and use on all my sites) the WordPress MU Domain Mapping plug-in.

Take a deep breath

I know this sounds like a lot and it can be intimidating, but it's possible. I migrated a 12-blog network with 1400 users last month. Last night I migrated a 5-blog network. Both take about the same amount of time and follow the exact same process I outlined above. Don't worry, you'll make your way through it."

Convert existing site to network - WordPress Answers

Convert existing site to network - WordPress Answers: "Now you'll want to begin migrating your other sites. Start with the main site and create a new "Site" from within WordPress. You'll have to copy over a bunch of settings manually, but you can probably get it looking right fairly quickly.

Export your posts and pages from the old site and import them to the new one.

Copy your theme over and any plug-ins you want to use."

Rand Paul Calls for Containment, Common Sense in U.S. Foreign Policy

Rand Paul Calls for Containment, Common Sense in U.S. Foreign Policy: "Congress, he believes, “has abdicated its role” in restraining the president’s rush to invade and preemptively bomb other nations. For years now, that body has shown “no moderation of dollars or in executive power.”

Fiscal security is essential to national security, Paul believes. Quoting various members of current and former military leadership, Senator Paul warned that failing to address our current economic crisis will leave us unable to address genuine threats to our national security in the future."

Noam Chomsky - Extremist

Noam Chomsky - Extremist: "characterized as a writer whose work has been suppressed "because the gentlemen who own the major media don't want you to know about Noam Chomsky." 1 It is paradoxical that such a well-known figure has trouble finding a publisher. The reason is that Chomsky's name has been associated with the denial of one genocide and the minimization of another."

Why Israel struck - NYPOST.com

Why Israel struck - NYPOST.com: " A story on the World Net Daily Web site this week detailed an internal explosion that purportedly destroyed much of Iran’s deeply dug facility, Fordow. (This nuclear site near the holy city of Qom has most worried IDF military planners because of its immunity to Israeli air attacks.)

Israel became quickly the top suspect in the supposed sabotage — even as Iran denied it ever happened and the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency said that its inspectors in Iran saw no signs such a blast took place."
